How this pair is put together

This pair handles a home wash and comes straight out of the dryer ready to put on without an iron. We put enough elastane into the synthetic weave to let the cloth give while you move. The front pleats drop into a sharp leg crease that holds its line through the laundry cycle.

Four things worth knowing

Extender waistband

The inner band mechanism shifts with you as you sit or bend. It adds ease through the middle without bunching the outer cloth or disturbing how the short hangs from the hips.

Microfiber cloth

We chose a tight synthetic weave blended with stretch yarns. The cloth resists creasing during long wear, sheds travel wrinkles quickly, and holds a deep black tone through regular wash cycles.

Front pleat construction

The twin pleats open slightly when you sit and lie flat when you stand. That extra room through the rise and thigh keeps the leg line clean without pulling across the pockets.

Permanent leg crease
