How this pair is put together

This pair goes straight through a home wash and dryer cycle and comes out ready to put on without an iron. We build it from a lightweight cotton twill with added elastane so the cloth yields when you move and recovers its line. The pleated front leaves room across the lap when you sit down.

Hidden waistband expansion

Front pleats and seat

The forward pleats open to give the thigh and seat ease of movement. When you stand, the folds fall back into line with the leg crease.

These trousers have not performed as well as I hoped. They're not bad, and depending on one's build, they might be perfect. For myself, I found the pockets to hang poorly and the overall fit to be a bit baggy. They appear to be built for someone with a fuller figure.
